George Mizzell - Math/Science
Coach
Comprehensive review of the Scientific Process
and how it is integrated with the ACT Science part
of the test. Typically the math review covers the most common algebra/geometry concepts that
are tested throughout the test. Most of the Trigonometry concepts are represented by the Unit Circle, so we do a thorough review of the Unit Circle.
Practice is the key to finishing these test sections
in the required time frame. Each session will
include practicing against the stop watch to get
students to complete their work on time. During these sessions I study the student's approach to solving each problem and I am trying to spot the moment they make a mistake to help them increase their awareness of how the little things can affect their problem solving approach.
Homework is where the student practices on their own
the concepts covered in each session. It is assumed
that the homework will be done and the student will
bring it back at the next session.
George really enjoys the one-on-one tutoring
experience which allows him the chance to identify
exactly what type of math problems create the most
difficulty for a student.

George directly for all the details about his
schedule and any other questions you may have about
working with your student.
